Our Early Family Christmas Celebration

So I know I haven’t blogged in a while, but I was unaware that the last time was in October! Yikes!!

In early December, about two weeks before actual Christmas, a bunch of my Dad’s side of our family came down to celebrate with my Grandparents. There was about 15 of us all together. We had a great Christmas dinner on Sunday the 15th at the Grandparents house. It was complete with Turkey and stuffing, all the normal sides, and there was even cinnamon apple sauce (Matt’s favorite)! After dinner we had a surprise baby shower for my cousin, Ashley. She’s due the beginning of March. We played lots of fun games and She got lots of great presents for the baby. We took some family pictures, but I don’t have any to show you! My bother took them all on his camera and has yet to upload them anywhere for the rest of us to see!! (ahem!!)

So good news!! After posting this the pictures arrived in my inbox! Hooray!! collage1

On Monday we all went to Disney! We choose the Magic Kingdom for our day of fun! It wasn’t as busy as I thought it would be for being right before Christmas. Our entire immediate family all made it to the park so we managed to get a family picture with the castle while waiting for everyone else to arrive. A Disney tradition!

Collage1Everyone finally arrived shortly after we did. We didn’t stay together at a whole group the entire day. It was just easier to make sure everyone got to see and do what was on their plan for the day. We did meet up for certain activities throughout the day and for the parade to end our magical day. Our group managed to ride all the main rides and fit in lots of other smaller ones! Here’s a recap of our day in pictures:

It was a very long day, we left right after the Electrical parade that started at 10 pm, but it was worth it. We had so much fun hanging out with all our Family that we don’t get to see too often. There were a few that couldn’t make it, that we missed and wished could have been there! We definitely need to plan more Family gatherings in the future!
