Happenings . . .
I need to keep up better on here because I know everyone just can’t stand not knowing what’s happening here in our little corner of the world!! Haha
So in a big mix of randomness here’s what’s been up around here:
1. Lucky had decided to be a mole hunter as he has recently plucked two moles right out of the ground in the back yard! I’d never seen a mole before and had no idea what one looked like until now.
2. I went the the Pink Concert here in Orlando and it was AMAZING!! I’ve always heard that she puts on a good show and it did not disappoint!!

3. Soccer Season started back up. Matt actually is the one that plays I just go to watch/cheer the team on
4. I got a new Griddle pan a few weeks ago and I love it!! Now instead of using 3 different pans to cook breakfast on the weekend I only need one AH-mazing pan.
5. My Kiddies at school are so artistic and love to paint!! Plus it helps me keep my sanity because they are so involved in creating their masterpieces they don’t have time to drive me Crazy!!
6. Matt finally decided to paint the ceiling in our kitchen because we were having an appraisal done for refinancing. Of course he waited til the night before, was extremely grumpy while doing it AND had the nerve to not talk to me all night because I wasn’t helping him!! BUT when he finished it looked 100x’s better!!
7. I went to an Alumni event for the Seminole County chapter of the UCF Alumni, which was a wine stroll through Colonial Town Park. They always have a raffle at these events and I WON!! Funny thing is I also won the same raffle last year (how crazy is that 2 years in a row?) and I an not even a UCF alumni!! However Matt is a UCF alumni as is my Mom so the can put all the alumni stuff to good use.
(Side note: The reason I went to a UCF alumni event is because one of my BFF’s was one of the planners and insisted that I must come to help bring the number of attendees up.)
9. We (read I) have been working in our yard a lot lately trying to make it look a little nicer. We’ve added some flower beds, I moved my garden over to the side of the house because it just got too hot right in the middle of the yard with no shade. Just this past weekend we planted our squash and zucchini sprouts, very excited for them to start producing. We also planted some free trees (Magnolias) my Mom got us for free at one of the events she had to work. It’s really starting to come along nicely!!

The Caterpillars love these plants! We counted about 25 of them in the garden one day
They’re started to cocoon all over the plants too.
I’ve found 5 so far and one just hatched the other day!

10. Our little Lucky is doing great!! Except for one day last week when he apparently panicked and thought we were never ever coming back for him. As a result of his panic he tore off the bottom of one of our hallway doors trying to claw his way out. He has since been residing back in his den when we’re not home. Other then that he loves hanging out in the yard and cuddling in bed when he gets cold! He’s so lucky he’s such a cute pup, his saving grace some days!
